Bred from a family of Chinese Opera actors and performers, SoJ has always had an itch for storytelling. From a young age, classical Chinese music was constantly around him and as he grew into his own musical entity, the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Guns N Roses, Van Halen, Black Label Society, Oasis and movie soundtracks would interfuse with the Chinese Classical sounds in his subconscious.
